Traveling to the Wedding

We understand most of you will be flying in for the wedding.  

Airports

The closest airport is in Bozeman, but there are other options available.

Several airlines fly into Bozeman, including Delta (typically connecting through Salt Lake City), Northwest (connecting through Minneapolis), and United (connecting through Denver).  

Alternatively, you could fly into Salt Lake City, Utah, if you would like the scenic drive to Big Sky in Southwestern Montana (approximately 5.5 hours).  If you are interested in flying to Salt Lake City and carpooling with others to the wedding, please email Stephanie at sdenton@post.harvard.edu.

Other Montana airports that would be convenient if you would like to drive to Southwestern Montana would be Billings or Helena.  

Finding Flights

In addition to calling the airlines, we recommend checking sites like Orbitz, Expedia, Hotwire, or even Priceline to try setting your own price.  Also, for savings on airfares, you may want to sign up for a web-based fare alert system that will email you when fares are lowered for certain routes such as from your city to Bozeman, Montana.  For example, we signed up for alerts at farecompare.com.  

Ground Transportation

If you're traveling to Bozeman, once you get there, rental cars are available at the airport, and we will be providing more information about shuttle services soon as well.  

Big Sky Montana Information

Big Sky is located in Southwest Montana, less than an hour from Yellowstone National Park.  Please visit http://www.bigskymontana.org/ or the Resort's website at www.bigskyresort.com for more information on making the wedding trip into a longer vacation!
